Little Miami Junior High added academic + administrative space to its existing school. The school is used for grades 6-8.

The team designed the school with steel + masonry, and with flexibility in mind to adapt floor plans for future needs. There are open, collaborative spaces as well as operable partitions to bring classrooms together. Innovative project laboratory classrooms with glass roll up doors open to the corridor + open collaborative spaces. Learning stairs allow students to gather + learn in a unique space.

This project is a part of an overall district plan. Schaefer was also the structural engineer for a new Early Childhood Center, Intermediate School (turned Primary School) addition, and a High School addition.
