Kristen Belyea, PE | Project Manager
Kristen Belyea, PE earned her PE and was promoted to project manager in Schaefer’s Cincinnati, Ohio office. Kristen joined Schaefer in 2018 and has been a dedicated team member from day one. In addition to developing her own structural engineering career, she has contributed to the development of many young engineers through her involvement in career fairs with our recruiting team.
Cameron Tousi, PE | Project Manager
Cameron Tousi, PE earned his PE and was promoted to project manager with Schaefer. Cameron is very interested in aiding new structural engineers as they transition from their academic studies to designing safe + efficient structures for the real world. He continues to be a great asset to the development of our engineers.
Jason Hubbell, PE | Project Manager
Jason Hubbell, PE has been promoted from project engineer to project manager in Schaefer’s Cincinnati, Ohio office. His passion for designing structures in the healthcare + education sectors is evident in the creative solutions he provides for our clients.
Fae Garstang, PE | Project Manager
Fae Garstang, PE has been promoted from project engineer to project manager in Schaefer’s Columbus, Ohio office. Fae has been with our Columbus team for over five years, and her zeal for engineering as well as developing relationships is evident in everything she does. She understands + enjoys the challenges of wood design, especially the complexity required of modern, multi-story wood projects.
Rachel Hock, PE | Project Manager
Rachel Hock, PE earned her PE and was as been promoted to project manager in Schaefer’s Cincinnati, Ohio office. Rachel began her career at Schaefer after graduating from the University of Dayton. She has worked on a variety of projects in the entertainment market, from temporary stages to theme park structures. Rachel’s participation in Schaefer’s mentorship program has given her the resources she needs to foster her continuous improvement.

Lizzie Miller was promoted to project engineer in Schaefer’s Cincinnati, Ohio office. Lizzie began her career with Schaefer as a co-op and appreciated the collaborative culture and open, receptive environment for questions + learning. She continues to lead the field in her designs + team contributions.

Cole Mertz was promoted to project engineer in Schaefer’s Columbus, Ohio office. Cole joined Schaefer after earning his Masters degree in civil engineering from The Ohio State University. He enjoys the wide range of project + problems he encounters in my daily work.
