Tired of sharing your umbrella? Schaefer provided structural design for a 30 ft tall, 50 ft diameter umbrella for a temporary installation in New York City’s Bryant Park to promote the opening of the Netflix show, The Umbrella Academy. The temporary steel frame provided support for the umbrella fabric and was designed to resist snow and wind loading.
