Vice President Sally Wehrman Retires

For the past ten years, Sally has been an integral part of the Schaefer team. For most of that time, she was a human resources team of one, covering all manners of recruitment, retention, culture and benefits. She hired a talent acquisition manager two years ago so that she could focus on the overall management and empowerment of our team members. Jamie D’Agostino now joins the team to assume these responsibilities as Sally retires.

“In ten years, Sally transformed our human resources department and helped to evolve our culture as we grew in team members and geographic reach. Schaefer’s competitive advantage is its people and Sally understood who and what was needed to keep us successfully moving forward,” remarked Greg Riley, President. “In discussions surrounding firm initiatives, she generated ideas with a people-first perspective and was our sounding board for how corporate decisions would trickle down to affect our people; she always kept our best interests at the forefront. Sally will be missed, but in her decade with our firm, she built a sound foundation upon which Schaefer will continue to grow.”

We wish Sally the best in her retirement and are grateful for the incredible work she has done. Thanks for ten great years!
