Schaefer was the structural engineer for a new five-level, 450 car parking garage at The RED Apartments. The garage includes two internal stair towers and one elevator tower. It is a standalone cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete structure, but is wrapped on two sides with a four-story wood apartment building.

Schaefer also provided the structural engineering design for three adjacent apartment buildings + amenity spaces; the campus was completed in phases.
