After studying where past emergency phone calls originated within the district, Miami Township chose the site to help improve response times. The new Fire + EMS Substation was constructed with masonry, metal stud and steel joists. The station features three apparatus bays, support spaces, mezzanine, living quarters and a small administrative area.
