Schaefer provided the structural design for the new Research + Innovation Center located on a 16 acre site in Middletown, Ohio visible from the I-75 corridor. The one-story laboratory, research and office building has prototype laboratories, analytical laboratories and collaborative spaces for Cliffs (formerly AK Steel) team members to develop what’s next for the industry.
