Kings Island expanded its Planet Snoopy children’s area with the addition of Camp Snoopy. The new zone has not one, not two, but three new ways for families to play at the amusement park.

Schaefer provided the structural engineering design for the ride foundations, signage, photo booth + ride station for the boomerang coaster, Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers. The station was constructed with steel framing + wood timber trusses.

Beagle Scout Acres is a park-like play area for all ages to climb, slide + run built under an existing structure. Schaefer provided designs for the stage + signage.

Pig Pen’s Mess Hall is an rest area located between Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers + Beagle Scout Acres. There, families can recharge on one of many picnic tables. Schaefer designed a wood-framed retail structure.
