Festo Regional Service + Manufacturing Center is growing – by two additions. The new spaces, one on the north side and one on the south side, will allow the company to add jobs and capacity.

Both steel-framed additions will be one story with mezzanines and feature metal panel exterior walls. They will house an automated storage and retrieval system as well as production spaces. Vibrations produced by ground improvement for the north addition relative to Festo’s daily operations were a design consideration. Schaefer’s team designed structures that would meet the owner’s needs for the spaces while seamlessly tying back into the existing facility.
