Schaefer, a 47-year-old structural engineering firm, announced the relocation of its local team members to 2800 North Central Avenue in the Midtown neighborhood. As Schaefer’s Phoenix office continues to grow in revenue and team members, it requires a larger space to accommodate future projections. The team will begin working out of its new office in July 2023. The nearly 100-person structural engineering firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio has held a local presence in Phoenix, Arizona since 2016, and provided structural designs for Arizona-based projects for decades prior.

“With great people, great work and a great culture, we’ve grown steadily and plan to add more creative team members so that we can continue to deliver smart structures that enhance our communities,” said Schaefer President Greg Riley. “We look forward to continuing to grow our presence and impact in the Phoenix community.”

Schaefer will occupy a 3900 sq ft space on the twelfth floor of 2800 North Central Avenue with views of the valley. Team members will enjoy an open concept office with several spaces for closed, collaborative work. The building, currently completing a phased renovation, offers an onsite fitness center + conference training room. Centrally-located along the light rail line, Schaefer team members can enjoy the Midtown neighborhood with quick and easy access to downtown.

Schaefer currently resides at 300 West Clarendon Avenue in the Midtown neighborhood. The firm also has offices in Cincinnati + Columbus, Ohio, and designs permanent and temporary structures nationally.
