Schaefer, a 47-year-old structural engineering firm, relocated its local team members to 2800 North Central Avenue in the Midtown neighborhood. As Schaefer’s Phoenix office continues to grow in revenue and team members, it required a larger space to accommodate future projections. The nearly 100-person structural engineering firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio has held a local presence in Phoenix, Arizona since 2016, and provided structural designs for Arizona-based projects for decades prior.

“This new office shows our firm’s continued commitment to growth. We’re always looking for smart, creative people to join us and, with this new space, we have the capacity to triple our local team,” said Schaefer President Greg Riley. “We look forward to continuing to grow our presence and impact in the Phoenix community.”

Schaefer renovated 3900 sq ft on the twelfth floor of 2800 North Central Avenue with views of the valley. Team members enjoy an open concept office with several spaces for closed, collaborative work. The building offers an onsite fitness center + conference training room. Centrally-located along the light rail line, Schaefer team members can enjoy the Midtown neighborhood with quick and easy access to downtown.

Schaefer’s new Phoenix office officially opened on July 19, 2023. The firm also has offices in Cincinnati + Columbus, Ohio, and designs permanent and temporary structures nationally.
