MetroParks of Butler County River Center is a new single story facility located along the Great Miami River Trail. It boasts a welcome center, offices, public restrooms and a conference room that can be rented by the public.

It was constructed with wood-bearing walls + shear walls, and steel framing for support in large open spaces, around storefront windows, and the front entrance canopy. The roof is unique in that it utilized structural insulated panels (SIP) for energy efficiency + sleek design, and slopes in four directions in order to collect rainwater at a single point, which is then used for landscaping.

The building was designed for future expansion; two full-height windows on the south face of the building could be easily adapted into doorways that could connect to a future addition.
