Brooklyn Museum of Art | Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams
New York City, New York

The Brooklyn Museum exhibit, Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams, was a celebration of the House of Dior. Objects from the Dior archives, including haute couture garments, photos + video, sketches, and accessories, were highlighted throughout the exhibit, with individual galleries celebrating Dior’s artistic directors.

Schaefer provided the structural design of three wedge-shaped temporary structures located within a central atrium. Each structure stood 25 ft x 13 ft x 14 ft and held four garments supported along the slope of the structure, in addition to garments staged across the top.
