what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
My dad is an architect and I’ve always been interested in figuring out how different structures are put together. The construction industry has always fascinated me because of the amount of “behind the scenes” work that goes into making a building a building.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
My fiancee, Liz, is from Springfield, Ohio, and got a job there to be closer to family. When I was looking to relocate, Schaefer showed that they’re the firm that was innovating + working on a wide variety of structure types. I enjoy working on new things + being challenged; it keeps me interested + engaged in engineering.
