what inspired you to pursue business development?
My career has taken an interesting path through roles as a land planner, consultant, business developer, city councilman, and business executive, but each has been driven by the same purpose, trying to make a meaningful difference in my community. Early in my career, I saw firsthand how thoughtful planning and quality engineering could improve people’s lives, inspiring a passion for connecting clients with talented professionals who bring important projects to life. Over time, I discovered that my greatest strength is building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping organizations grow.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
I joined Schaefer because I saw an opportunity to help grow a respected engineering firm with a great culture. The chance to expand the firm’s presence in the Triangle market aligns perfectly with my passion for building relationships, developing strategic partnerships and connecting with clients to grow the firm’s footprint and project delivery.
