It’s the most wonderful time of the year – time for Schaefer’s holiday campaign. Like in past years, Schaefer’s campaign centers around community.
This year, our holiday campaign benefitted non-profit housing organizations in our hometowns. We partnered with People Working Cooperatively in Cincinnati, Ohio; Huckleberry House in Columbus, Ohio; and Circle the City in Phoenix, Arizona.
Many of our clients received a locally-made gingerbread house kit from us. We asked them to construct + decorate their gingerbread houses with their colleagues, and tag Schaefer in photos of their completed gingerbread houses on social media. For every gingerbread house that we saw completed, we donated $25 to our hometown non-profit housing organizations.
Combining our clients’ participation with our own donation, we donated a total of $9875 to our non-profit housing partners.
As an added element, we reposted our clients’ gingerbread house photos on our social media channels and asked our followers to choose their favorite gingerbread house design. Besides bragging rights, winning firms received breakfast.
