Sean joins us in the Cincinnati office as a structural engineer. Read below to get to know him!
1. Favorite thing to do off the clock?
I love spending time with my wife, whether that’s going out + trying new restaurants for the first time or hanging out at home watching a show/movie or playing board games.
2. Favorite sports and teams?
Football is my favorite sport — the Cincinnati Bengals + Ohio State Buckeyes are my teams. I was raised as a Notre Dame fan but going to Ohio State made me a diehard fan of them. Outside of football, I’m also a big Cincinnati Reds fan and I love college basketball.
3. What are your hobbies?
I enjoy watching sports, playing board games + euchre, watching movies, and trying new recipes.
4. What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Anything traffic related.
5. What’s your signature dish to cook for family and friends?
French onion orzo with ribeye steak.
6. Why you chose to work/live in Cincinnati?
I’ve loved Cincinnati my whole life – the diverse neighborhoods, the geography, the people, the things to do, etc.. There’s always something going on, and I love exploring the different pockets of the city and the overall region.
7. What’s on your bucket list?
I would love to visit all 50 states.
8. Quote to live by.
“Play hard and have fun” – my dad would say this to us before any sporting event growing up, but I have found that it applies to all aspects of life.
9. Fun fact about yourself.
When I was a very young child, I was “lost” at the Cincinnati Children’s Museum, causing a lockdown of the entire Union Terminal. I was eventually found sitting under a table in the hands-on construction zone for kids, building something out of some building blocks. There might have been some foreshadowing there as to what my future career would be amid my parents’ panic.
10. What would you sing at karaoke?
Not a big karaoke guy, but it would have to be Bohemian Rhapsody.
