what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
Ever since I was a kid, I was always fascinated by buildings + construction. Through years of playing with Legos + countless hours playing Roller Coaster Tycoon, I was determined to understand what goes into making a successful structure work. After my very first statics course in college, I knew structural engineering was the path for me.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
When my wife and I decided that we would be relocating back home to Cincinnati, I looked for a firm that was a leader in the engineering space, innovative, and supportive for the growth of their employees. When I was introduced to Schaefer, I was immediately impressed by their accolades, culture, and outlook for the future. I knew it was a place where I would be challenged, supported, and also exposed to a wide variety of construction types.
