Schaefer provided the structural design for the new School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). The new school serves 1,350 students in a four-story 280,000 sq ft facility, providing students the opportunity to major in dance, drama, music, theater, visual arts or writing. The school features state-of-the-art teaching space and three theatres – a 750-seat full production theatre, a 300-seat recital hall, and a 120-seat studio.
