Valravn is a dive coaster, and the first one for Cedar Fair’s parks. Schaefer provided the structural engineering design for the two story ride station that is steel framed – just like the roller coaster itself. The ride station has two stair towers leading to + from the ride station deck. The roof continues past the ride’s loading/unloading to protect the ride’s maintenance + storage area. The unusual roof mimics a flat plate both on the exterior + interior of the ride structure.
