what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
My dad was a residential concrete subcontractor, so I’ve always been around the construction industry. As a kid, I also loved traveling to big cities and looking at the skyscrapers.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
Having been aware of Schaefer and their reputation in the structural engineering community since relocating to Indianapolis, the opportunity to join them felt like a natural next step. The chance to work for a structural-only firm, focused entirely on delivering exceptional structural engineering, aligned with where I wanted to take my career. Add in Schaefer’s growth mindset and the opportunity to help build their Indianapolis presence, and it was an opportunity that made a lot of sense for me.
