what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
I’ve always been passionate about math + science, so engineering became a natural fit as I got older. In high school, I visited the Hoover Dam + Hoover Dam bridge and was fascinated by the thought that I could one day design infrastructure of that magnitude. From then on, I continued exploring structural engineering as a career and determined it would be a perfect match for my passions + skillset.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
After spending a summer as a co-op at Schaefer, I really enjoyed the diversity of projects, emphasis on mentorship and the overall company culture.
