what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
I always knew I wanted to be a structural engineer. When I was in high school, I built balsa bridges + towers for a school club to test how much load they could hold while also trying to make them as light + efficient as possible. This opened my eyes to the world of structural engineering. Once I got to college, I was able to specialize quickly + found great mentors to learn structural engineering.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
I interned at Schaefer in the summer of 2023 + really enjoyed my time because of the great people that surrounded me here. I was also glad that I got to work on a diverse portfolio of projects.
