For the second year in a row, Schaefer sponsored the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic. Foursomes will tee off at the Wedgewood Golf & Country Club August 4 at 8:00AM. The day event also includes an online and silent auction. This year, the event hosted by the SMPS Columbus chapter, will benefit three charities: The Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Big Brothers Big Sisters. “The golf outing is a great day to get out of the office to network with our local A/E/C firms. The fact that it benefits central Ohio charities makes the event that much better,” remarked Ryan Konst, Schaefer Managing Director and past SMPS Columbus president. “We believe in the community that SMPS has created and will continue to contribute to this organization and this golf outing.” The SMPS golf outing is an annual event. Each year, the charities supported are chosen by the Honorary Chair; 2014’s is Clark Kellogg, former NBA player and current vice president of player relations for the Indiana Pacers.
