Schaefer has been named the fourth best structural engineering firm in Phoenix, Arizona, according to 2018’s Ranking Arizona: The Best of Arizona Business. A poll based on popular opinion, voters are instructed to choose firms with which they recommend doing business, and firms are then ranked by the number of votes they receive. It was Schaefer’s first year participating in the poll.
The list has ranked businesses for 20 years and is the largest poll of its kind in the state. Schaefer, founded in 1976, has designed projects in the state for almost two decades, and opened an office in Phoenix two years ago. After outgrowing the initial office, the team expanded to a space in the Midtown neighborhood, with room to add more production staff.
