Xavier University’s Cintas Center is a multi-purpose arena + conference center that hosts the XU Musketeers basketball games, high school graduation ceremonies and other events. Schaefer was the structural engineer for the university’s renovation to update the space including:

• Strength + Conditioning Center | new athletic addition with a connection to the existing practice gym, which included  advanced analysis of the existing structure to avoid a costly retrofit

• Courtside Club | existing dock area converted into gathering area for season ticket holders

• Bridge Seating Addition | cantilevered seating bowl addition on the north side of the main concourse level

• Student Lounge | new lounge located south of existing practice gym

• Training Room | renovations to existing space
