what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
Growing up in New Jersey, New York City was in my backyard. We would travel to the city to see shows, attend sporting events, visit family, and although I didn’t love the chaotic and crowded nature of the city, I always enjoyed the trip because seeing the skyline was awe-inspiring. Early on I developed a goal to somehow have an impact on a city’s skyline and pursuing a career in structural engineering seemed like the best way to achieve that!
why did you choose to join schaefer?
The first time I joined Schaefer, I was captivated by the diversity of project portfolio, and I wanted to be a part of the organic culture that had developed in the office. After a few years away, Schaefer appealed to me because that culture remained with core staff members and it presented unique challenges and opportunities for me to grow as an engineer + beyond.
