what is your specialty?
I have to pick two: healthcare and K-12 education. I have had the pleasure of working on some really beautiful schools all over Texas and Oklahoma, predominantly constructed with steel framing and/or CMU. I have also been lucky enough to work on several hospitals (large and small) in and around Texas. Most of my healthcare experience has been designing concrete pan joist buildings.
why did you choose to join schaefer?
I chose Schaefer for its people and project diversity. First and foremost, I have to like who I work with, after all, we (probably) spend more time together than at home! Second, I get bored easily and love to think and challenge myself. Schaefer provides so much opportunity to work on so many different tasks that I doubt I’ll ever be bored. I see ample opportunity to learn, grow and challenge myself in many different ways here.
