Alamar ParkAvondale, Arizonaserve The master-planned community of Alamar embarked on an $18 million park project in collaboration between Brookfield Residential + City of Avondale. Within the new 40-acre park, Schaefer provided the structural engineering design of four single-story buildings. > The 22,000 sq ft outdoor amphitheater was constructed with a steel-framed structure on a raised platform. > The 1,675 office + storage building was constructed with wood + steel framing. > Two 700 sq ft public amenity + restroom buildings were constructed with steel framing + masonry walls. All of the structures were designed with irregular roof systems, and as such, required custom framing conditions, which Schaefer was able to design within budget.
