2022 March Madness Music FestivalNew Orleans, Louisianaentertain Schaefer completed the structural design for the temporary stage, entrance/information/signage structures + video structures for 2022's March Madness Music Festival at Woldenberg Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. The three-day music event, that complements the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament, hosted performers like Imagine Dragons, Khalid, Arcade Fire, Macklemore + many more. The stage roof, 60 ft wide x 52 ft deep and 50 ft tall adjoined by a 30 ft wide video bay, was constructed with individual custom aluminum trusses supported by steel scaffold lifting bays + video walls. Schaefer was the structural engineer for a new art installation, Forest of Us by Es Devlin, at Superblue Miami. Upon entry, guests watch a projected video before entering a 4500 sq ft mirror maze that spans two stories.
