A new industrial complex has taken shape in a master-planned community near Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport.
The 60 acres are home to five Class A speculative warehouse facilities. Each single-story facility ranges from 84,167 to 427,937 sq ft with the five buildings totaling 983,720 sq ft.
All five buildings were constructed with tilt-up concrete walls + hybrid wood roof systems, and feature 30-36 ft clear heights.
This project was completed during a period when the construction environment was experiencing substantial cost increases + labor shortage. Schaefer provided additional construction administration efforts to help prevent project delivery delays.
Schaefer is also providing the structural engineering design of ten additional buildings for phase II, which will nearly double the industrial park site to 113 acres. It’s expected to begin construction in 2025.
