When CB2, Crate + Barrel’s furniture + home decor sister brand, entered Scottsdale, Arizona’s Scottsdale Quarter, it collaborated with Schaefer’s structural engineering team to execute tenant improvements that customized the space. The two-story retail renovation included designing necessary connection points between the two floors – design for an elevator, new steel stairs, and their associated openings. Outside, the team designed an exterior steel trellis + entry framing. The team used concrete + steel to execute the renovation.
