what inspired you to pursue structural engineering?
I have always appreciated architecture. That and the idea of imagining and constructing large, complex structures, specifically roller coasters, led me this way.
what has been your most satisfying experience on the job?
I have designed a few large, elevated, post-tensioned concrete slab hotels in California. I enjoy designing for unique, local challenges; California structures are often designed with high seismicity in mind.
