Doug is one of our senior level engineers with 25+ years of experience. He is recognized in the design of tall wood + hybrid-frame buildings both for mixed-use + multi-residential, and has shared his knowledge through presentations to architects + engineers across the country through Woodworks, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Structural Engineers Association of Ohio annual conference. Doug is passionate about the future of the wood industry and has emerged as a heavy timber advocate; he has designed 40+ mass timber projects, including the first two cross-laminated timber hotels in the United States.

Doug earned his Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed engineer in Ohio, Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida + New York.
